The Town of Checkamus is the only area left from the 1987 layout and it is still not finished. I would like to finish it soon. There is a plywood mill, a sawmill, a TOFC ramp, a fuel dealer and a freight house. Checkamus is served by local #409. Checkamus is freelanced based on similar towns in British Columbia.
