Squamish Yard is the main yard on the railway. The mainline and siding at Squamish bypass the yard. The yard has shop facilities, 5 arrival and departure tracks, 9 classification tracks and 2 switching leads. 7 trains arrive and/or depart from this yard. There are currently 6 car spots here as well. If helpers are needed they cut in here also.
Squamish is inside yard limits and between the Vancouver subdivision and the Squamish subdivision. The yardmaster is responsible for routing all traffic through Squamish.
