The plan is simply to transition the Cariboo Western Railway into a representation of the British Columbia Railway's Squamish subdivision. The Squamish sub ran from mile 0 at North Vancouver to mile 157.6 at Lillooet.

  • DoneI will add North Vancouver at the south end. There will be 50 local spots here and interchange with the Canadian National's Lynn Creek yard.
  • DoneVancouver staging will become the Canadian National Lynn Creek Yard
  • DoneRobert's Bay will be removed. This will allow an Isle space of 37 inches and be more prototypical.
  • Done Brunswick siding will be added on the curve north of where Roberts Bay now is.
  • DoneI will keep Britannia mine as incorrectly rail served.
  • DoneGaribaldi will be changed into the Squamish industrial area.
  • Squamish will lose the classification yard and the shops area will change into a representation of the Squamish shop area. I will use modeler's license to keep the Railwest plant operating.
  • On the Squamish sub the helpers work between Mons and Darcy. An unchangeable fact is that north of Mons the track is flat and does not go down. I will therefore run helpers between Squamish and Mons.
  • For a long time Checkamus will stay although entirely fictional.
  • DoneSummit will change to Mons.Northbound helpers will cut off here. There will be a spur south of here for Propane
  • DonePemberton will be moved south a bit and the siding shortened to be prototypical. There will be 7 spurs here The old staging yard will become the Cariboo Western interchange.
  • DoneNorth of Pemberton there are spurs at Evans, Mount Currie and MaCillvary falls..
  • Done Seton will be created and the backtrack will have a dock for lumber loading.
  • Cayoosh will become Lillooet. There will be a yardmaster here who will take trains in and out of staging and work local industries which includes a large sawmill.
  • There is a wild idea to add the Fraser river bridge at Polley but I don't know if this will ever happen.
  • Operations

  • There will be 3 yardmasters 1 each at North Vancouver, Squamish and Lillooet. There will likely be a switcher operator at North Vancouver and maybe at Squamish.
  • There will be 2 northbound and 2 southbound British Columbia Railway freight trains.
  • There will be passenger service with British Columbia Railway number 1and 2
  • There will eventually be the Royal Hudson.
  • There will be a Cariboo Western Railway transfer freight.
  • There may be a Cariboo Western Railway northbound coal empty.
  • There will be a CWR freight switching Checkamus
  • There will be 3 locals freights.
  • There will be a helper crew
  • There will likely be a southbound Canadian National detour train.
  • North Vancouver will have 55 spots
  • Squamish will have 40 spots.
  • Lillooet will have 15 spots.
  • There will be 19 online spots.
